Animation

ARC Watch

Project Link

Through this animation project, I was able to showcase a marketing concept for a product called @ARC watch - Automatic Rescue Caller and demonstrate the capabilities of human-machine interaction. The animation features a scenario in which a smartwatch is able to detect a cardiac emergency in a patient and immediately call for help by contacting an emergency contact. Developing this project allowed me to utilize Adobe Animate and create a compelling and informative piece that highlights the potential of technology to improve and save lives.

The VR Gallery

Project Link

In this project, I brought together various previous experiences and projects from my art and multimedia studies, combining curation techniques, virtual modeling, and model-making to create a virtual and physical exhibition. My portfolio of work served as the theme for the show, as it showcases my growth and development as an artist over the course of my studies. I chose to present the exhibition in Virtual Reality, as it is a technology that I find both fascinating and underutilized. To add a human element and maintain a sense of physicality, I also created a reduced scale physical model of the exhibition space. Overall, this project allowed me to demonstrate my skills in curation, modeling, and exhibition design in both virtual and physical realms.

Alien Invasion

For this project, I created a single-level arcade-inspired game that is meant to evoke a sense of nostalgia. Using the Unity game engine and assets such as Sunny Land and Warped Caves, I developed a game that pays homage to a beloved childhood character with its choice of background music, Sonic: After the Sequel. The result is a nostalgically charged game that is sure to bring back memories for players of all ages.

This project challenged me to think creatively and work with new technology, resulting in a dynamic and memorable piece.

Pravda

Project Link

For the Systems course, I created “PRAVDA”, an interactive installation that utilizes a playful system of conflict interaction between truth and lies to engage the participants. Using Twitter feeds as a starting point, their mission is to identify the truth and expose the lies in the media, working together to combat disinformation. In order to effectively do so, the participants must develop critical thinking skills and strategize their actions, ultimately striving for a ‘liberating truth’. To bring this project to life, I utilized a range of tools including Blender, Unity, and Virtual Reality software.
